John 3:19
19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (NKJ)

The last part of the verse explained in today's language merely says: Man doesn't want to have to be "accountable" to God because that means he has to change his lifestyle and perspective. The human nature is at enmity against God's ways. It doesn't come to him naturally. That is why Jesus stated:

John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (NKJ)

You are doing your best from a human perspective to figure everything out. But it's impossible, because God's only way of providing spiritual sight to man is through the rebirth of the Holy Spirit.

Prov 14:12
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. (NKJ)

I'm not saying I don't understand what you're saying, but we often overestimate ourselves. I was once that way myself, but when you come face to face with Christ the "Truth" exposes us.

M> I read some interesting points this weekend.

A. Christ's crucifixion was deserved punishment for creating an imperfect world.

W> Does this statement assume then that Christ is God? If He is the creator then He must be God. So the Trinity unfolds.
