We overlook the faults of our friends. And we focus on the faults of our adversaries.
I've been pondering (!) this recently and that seems to be what I observe. It isn't so much that people dislike a certain heresy more than others, it's personal in many instances.
This is just a general observation and I don't mean to direct it to anyone in particular. If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't, even after trying to shoe-horn it in .. better toss it away. It'll just give you corns.
