I have 2 puppies. A blue & tan Tibetan Spaniel who is a little over 2 now, named Tuffy. He's my buddy. A dominant little boy.

And a mainly white, a little over 1, male Shih Tzu named Toby. He is a buddy too, not quite like Tuffy though.

Toby took to picking up rocks on our walks. He has swallowed them before, but vomited them out. This time it was a large rock, 2" x 1.5" and it lodged in his intestines. He has a large incision on his tummy. And he has been licking around the stitches, not the stitches themselves that much.

The cortisone spray is helping, but he is licking that a little too. I help him for 10 minutes last night after spraying him to let it dry a little.

We started giving our puppies yogurt when Tuffy had a stomach bug once. He was on anti-biotics and the vet said to give him a tablespoon or two of yogurt too. Of course, you can't give to one and not the other. So they both started eating yogurt each evening before our walk, and love it. And we never stopped.

Have a great day Dori !
