That's right Don. It is a concept. And if we had a real world example of it, then it wouldn't be eternity. :-)

But consider time. If we got to a point that said "Time Starts Now" .. how could we, while being in time, recognize it ? How could nothing be prior to that moment ? See what I mean ? It's a Catch-22.

It is like the time without start versus the time started argument. Or I guess, it isn't "like". It is.

They are both unseemly and awkward. It's because we are thinking about time, and we are in time.

I prefer to think of eternity as a state of timelessness. That in fact time is a construct, perhaps a construct exclusively of minds.
