Wish I could recall the name of my dethroned hero... oh well, the point is that his conclusion regarding life and death
was that there was no point to life, and death was the end of it. Over the next few years, many existentialists took
their lives. The problem with existentialism is that it is of the MIND. The MIND's job is to keep the Soul locked into
Creation until the MIND has explored and experienced everything it needs to become convinced that all is illusion.
My ex hero got that far, but was unable to take the next step into the unknown which demands that one give up
control.

"What is a Karmic obligation? "

Simply it refers to the idea of action - reaction. If we take a look at the symbol for Yin-Yang, we note a dark shape
and a white shape. These stand for the two opposite natures of the MIND. What hardly anyone notices is the line
between these two shapes. This line represents Neutral Spiritual energy. A Karmic obligation is the re-action part of
action -reaction. The purpose of which is to eventually and experientially move back and forth to end up at
Neutrality.

Sorry I missed you. Re: "The MIND's job is to keep the Soul locked into Creation until the MIND has explored and

Didn't the Beatles do that in the 60's with the Mia Farrow and some Maharishi? *-)

They were seeking, but were not quite ready, as who they met was what Christ described as a false prophet.
Generally speaking, all who claim to be a Master are not.

They were on the right spiritual journey, but didn't have the best conductor for the train, eh? I was wracking my
brain trying to remember his name. He was quite heralded at the time. Ravi something? Or am I mixing him up with
someone else?

dori thinks that Hinduism and eastern mysticism is on the "right spiritual journey", but then dori doesn't have a clue.
