I am really worried about where the AG have gone in less than a century! What I read in your 'Our Distinctive Doctrine, brochure titled 'the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, #739118 and was heartbroken because of your doctrine as follows: quote...Receiving eternal life does not depend on being baptized in the Holy Spirit; for salvation is by grace through faith alone... This statement is the most grievous statement ever made by a �body of Christ/ Spirit filled ministry!�
Using the thief on the cross is not the guideline for NOT receiving the HOLY SPIRIT as the thief was dying that day and received the thru grace that day as the thief had enough of the HOLY SPIRIT to KNOW/discern that " but this man hath done nothing amiss (824, unrighteous). As the thief was concerned, he had a repentant heart. Again his death that very day was, all that was needed to enter in heaven for him, as He received pardon from the King of Glory on the �spot.� If you died the same day (24 hours) as you received Jesus as your LORD and savior His grace would be sufficient. But What happened to the HOLY Spirit�s inspired verse: �Without holiness NO one Shall see GOD!� Heb. 12:14 Without the Spirit of HOLINESS no one can strive against sin! Without the SPIRIT of HOLINESS no one can be righteous enough to enter into heaven ie. : Jesus said For I say unto you, That except your righteousness (1342. holiness, purity shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matt.5:20 Without the baptism of the SPIRIT of HOLINESS/ RIGHTEOUSNESS as a requirement this verse would not be needed in the WORD of GOD � �Or do you not know that the unrighteous (94, sinful) will not inherit the kingdom of God?� 1Cor. 6: 9 According to the NO need NO HOLIINESS doctrine no one needs or would be convicted (not condemned) enough to �seek ye first the kingdom of GOD and His righteous.� We might as well cut out this verse out of our bibles as a requirement for eternal life�But now being made FREE FORM SIN and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto HOLINESS and the end everlasting life. Rom. 6:22 If anyone tries to be WITHOUT SIN WITHOUT the Spirit of HOLINESS they would be trying to enter in by WORKS which they have done!
