Another publication you should get is an Interlinear Greek-English New Testament. This has the Koine Greek text in the main column with the literal word for word English translation under each Greek word, and in the column on the right, you have either the KJV translation for comparison, or some other translation, depending on the Interlinear you get. I strongly recommend the Interlinear Greek-English New Testament with the KJV by Greek scholar, George Ricker Berry. This Greek New Testament is the Received Text (Textus Receptus) upon which the New Testament of the KJV is based. The Englishman's Interlinear Greek-English New Testament is also very good.
