I hate evolution because IT IS A RELIGION.

Cool Mondo,

Tell me what god does evolution worship and divine acts? How does evolution define
what holiness is? What is sanctimonious to evolution. Does it have any holy books?
Where is the Christ and the god? Where in evolution is the divine holy morality? Where
does it say in evolution... you must believe or go to hell. Where does it say any where, if
you do not believe your very sole is dammed, and your family? Are there any churches
made in the honor of evolution? NO and NO again. Holy text beyond dispute? NO.
Where does it define what the spirit of man is? No where. You might as well say 1+1=2
is a religion. Religion is defined and evolution does not fit the definition.

NO WHERE at no time is evolution a religion. It is an explanation of evidence, nothing
more and nothing less. If you can use that explanation then do so where ever life takes
you... when it fails to do that then seek something else. The ideas of evolution was
brought before the supreme court USA, contesting it is a religion and it lost--back in 1987
I believe. Big deal, slavery was counted as moral also not that long ago. But sound minds
presented their argument. Evolution is not a religion for there is NO god involved, it says
nothing about it.

Evolution will never be �proved beyond doubt� philosophically speaking... does anything
fits that category? NO. But from a scientific perspective... Evolution is beyond
reasonable doubt. But many of us wait to see if aliens do exist. We could be the aliens.

I must admit that WOG surprised me with his acknowledgment of Micro evolution. Facts
must be admitted. So Micro evolution is just Macro evolution over time, they add up.
The science, a logical concept of evolution is easy... The missing ingredient is �time�,
and how do you prove the past? Just a whole bunch of evidence and more as we speak.
Yes we have proven time, enough of it past to more than handle evolution.

If evolution was proved wrong tomorrow would I be disappointed--HELL NO. Would it
lessen my argument against the gods.. Not a chance. Have I used it yet? Nope. I would
say �great� show me the evidence against evolution and stake your claim. I would just
love it. But when you say �God did it�--- then you better show your god. Not that you
have Mondo. This is why evolution is not a religion, there is no god in evolution nor bible
pro or con. Shoot evolution down by putting facts on the table. I am not implying that you
personally can or should do that-- but man in general as we learn stuff.

If I thought that evolution was a pivot point in these discussions I would be all over it. So
basically I will pass and point you to �talkorigin� they have it any way you want it with
an open form for discussion. What I am dealing with here is human nature. Why we
think the way we do and show evidence. Show evidence of a god or devil... I would love
to see that.
