She named her cat "Peaches"

I named one that 20 years ago.

"PEACHES" was a Soupy Sales character.

He would open his window shutters on that awful set, and yell out the window........

"OOOOOOOH PEEEEEEA-CHES." And White Fang and Black Tooth would....in their voices mimic the "OH PEACHES." One in the high pitched voice. The other in the gruff gravely "OH PEEEACHES!" Soupy had flawless tim------ing.

Then the camera would cut to a 1920's silent movie clip of a little girl with a huge white bow (like it could be something other than either Black or White. DUH!) in her hair who would smilingly walk towards the camera with her Charlie Chaplin gait and smile at the camera!

We named a beautiful solid apricot colored Persian kitten "Peaches".....who on later inspection, turned out to be a boy! That made the name "PEACHES" all the funnier! He was my dad's cat. We had a boy named PEACHES!
