Subject: Unfortunately the Bible itself confirms

That God will give people over to depravity and will send a strong delusion. That's not supremacy that is God being sovereign and having a purpose in something we might not understand.

As far as putting faith in a Bible, it is a big problem since none of them say exactly the same thing. In essence people have put their faith in a translation and not only faith in their own intellect to interpret, but that of every translator who has handled it. Does God say that translators were inspired? No He said hands moved by the Holy Spirit and specifically in those verses points to the OT not the NT.

Further I can't find one verse in the Bible about "saved from Hell". Everytime someone states that we can't possibly all be saved b/c God is saving us from hell, that phrase isn't even used in the whole of the Bible! There are a couple of places where it says "delivered from hell". But to be delivered from something must mean one already abides there. God doesn't deliver someone from drug abuse if they aren't already in the throes of it.

So if ya'll are going to use the Bible as the sole authority on the subject, then it should state that people are being saved from hell. I read a verse in Titus yesterday that affirmed to me what Jesus actually accomplished at it was this:

"Who [Jesus] gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." Titus 2:14

Jesus came to save us from sin and death. He came to purify us. I have faith He will accomplish that goal, and if not in this age, the age to come. No mention of hell in the context of which we know it. (Actually no mention of saving us from hell at all)

Sincerely :)
