Any use of these descriptive phrases by Newbie is likely quite coincidental. You, yourself noted that he has only been here a week, so quite likely hasn't seen that "pattern". Actually, I haven't either, and have been around a little longer.

To clarify also, he isn't biased against "Jack". It isn't a personal bias, it's a general bias.

As for Christians messing up, it isn't a big deal. I think what is ironic, at least to me, is that Christians claim to wish to follow & emulate Jesus Christ. But it isn't that any Christians are "messing up" per se. It is that from all appearances it seems they revel in it. :)

It seems, if as a Christian you are no different than your average Satanist, or Deist, then what's the big deal about being a Christian ? Eternal salvation, but in the meantime you are allowed to be as much of a schmuck as you like ?

I'm not trying to be personal here, just trying to understand where you are coming from. Please don't take any personal offense.
