a response to the us vs. them mentality, WoG and specifically to Newbie. It was written by a wonderful Christian lady, who notices the same thing as Newb, and would like to see more unity and less division among Christendom.

You are justifying your division, by stating it is truth at all costs. Unfortunately, your definition of true is about you and how you happen to see it or ascribe to it. It takes no amount of faith. If you can't find evidence in the Bible and discern it from your intellect, it must not be true. Further it is up to you what you wish to emphasize! You choose to emphasize that God must appease his justice by casting aside all those UNWORTHY, and I see God more merciul, gentle and patient. Why? Because that is how he has dealt with me. Judgment does certainly come, but it's purpose is to correct. Everytime I feel like being punitive, God's answer to me is to act with His Grace.

I don't have to see everything through your interpretation of scripture. Most others don't either. That's what you can't accept. I believe things b/c Jesus tells me. It's all about the law of love.

And that is all the post was about. Why is that so objectionable?

It's all about Grace and LOve!:)
