Hello Dave,

I was with C "Charlie" Btry from 10/67 - 10/68 and serviced as the section chief for FDC. Our battery was at three of the loctions you mentioned: Dak To, Ben Het, and Kontum. When I left the "field", for Artillery Hill, C Btry was at LZ Mary Lu in Kontum.

In 1998 there was a reunion, in Wildwood Crest, NJ, of seven of us from three of the batteries and headquarters. In attendance were: Tony DeAngelis (Hqtrs-Persl), Col Wubbena "Weemo", Alan Feldman, Bill Holmes, Ed Sartain (our legal beagle), and Reggie Figueroa (Hqtrs-Persl). I don't know if you recognize any of these names but you should visit our website at:

Our list continues to grow and hopefully you'll add a few more names to the list and are also able to locate some "lost" companions. I have been unsuccessful in trying to locate or remember the names of people who served on the guns, commo, ammo, or the mess hall. All of those at the reunion were either from headquarters or FDC.

Hope I've been helpful. Incidentally, there is some activity to have another reunion in San Antonio, TX within the next year or two.

Have a Happy New Year!!

Ned
