Hello BK,

I was on base camp the whole time at Long Binh. I remember the Aussies pitching tents for awhile down by the motor pool, I think. We heard some automatic weapons fire coming from the tents one night. The story was, Three or four of them were sitting around drinking and smoking (the illegal stuff) and one of the guys says to the other, why don't you shoot him. And he did. They left a couple of days later. If you are interested go to classmates.com. I have pictures posted in the "Photo Album" section of the "Vietnam Era" group. If you go over there let me know, you might recognize somebody. I have several albums posted, the ones of 53rd have in the title "53rd Sig Bn".

Good to hear from you. As you can tell I don't get to this site very often.
