I served as Platoon Sgt/Ldr in Co B/2/8 in 1968. We moved the Division from I Corps, around Quan Tri, down to III Corps, around An Loc. In III Corps, we might even have touched Cambodia, too, but who'd ever know? I did a lot of walking and flying in the 3 1/2 months before being WIA. Spent 3 months in Okinowa recovering.

Went home from Okinowa to Ft Lewis where I pushed troops through the Infiltration Course out in old North Fort.

I'm still married to my bride of 1967. We have 2 boys with families of their own, and 4 grandchildren.

See ya around Home
