I was in D Co. 19th enger. we lived at the base of LZ Thunder. We did mine sweep every day and the 1/20th guarded our bridges at night. On mine sweep it was a happy sight to sweep around a bend in the road and see in a distance the 1/20th at our bridge, we knew we were secure for a little while.
