 Pat,
I was in B Troop, 2nd Platoon on track 18 (grunt track) from March 1970 to the February 1971. Everybody called me Jeep. I was the only FNG delivered to the platoon in a Jeep rather than a Slick.

Our AO was mostly up and down QL19 between LZ Schueller and An Khe.

I'm not sure where hill 598 is. Is that the hill just to the south east of An Khe? Or is it further to the West?

What Troop and platoon were you in?
