 I just read your message today. Maybe it's too old to reply to, but nevertheless, I'm replying.
I served on the APL 30 in Sasebo, Japan, from Feb. 1955 through June of 1956 when Mobile Boat Pool 1 was transferred to Subic Bay, Philippines. I was the yeoman in charge of the office. I was subsequently discharged in Nov. 1956, and I reside in Austin, Texas, retired twice from teaching and music ministry. I'm now an avid cyclist and Lance Armstrong is my hero.
