During 66-67-68,I served in the 100th Engr.Co.(float bridge).We were in the 79th Engr.grp.20th Engr.Brgd.We were first in phu-loi,then in dec.66 moved to Long Bien,where the unit was until i rotated in68.We were a bridging unit,but our secondary mission was freight hauling,which is what we mainly did.The 100th logged over 1 million miles in 11 months in country,so we gave a lot of transport units a run for most miles logged.Our base camp was on the bien hoa side of long bien,accross the tracks by the 199th.
