Strike Force!!
Hello Guys, I was with the Strike Force '66-67. Made the "without chinstraps" jump over Kontum & will never forget it. I remember the Gun Slinger & the Gun Fighter, the news articles about the "hatchet Bn" and of course 1SG (later SMG) Sabalauski. Does anyone remember 1SG Sabo (only 'Sabo' behind his back for us PFC's & such) & his favorite "The best damn thing a woman can do in her lifetime is give birth to a paratrooper" speech? I'm sure that St Michael was happy to have a new CSM in Paratrooper heaven to make sure that all the troops had their rucks packed tight & their poncho liners snugged up! Glad to find this site. I would like to hear from any and all of the members of the Best Of The Best...STRIKE FORCE!
