I've only read your revised 'Gemstone' (and not the complete tale, just 2.5 parts), so I really enjoyed reading this earlier incarnation. I've no objection to full-blown HR, especially when it's done with such craft and skill.

I hope that finding and reposting this older version will inspire you to complete your revision of 'Gemstone.' I am so eager to be able to read the complete tale.
