It's been a busy day with work and then taking daughter and nieces and nephews to christmas tree lighting, late meetings, but I'll be back tonight to continue the story and then post in the early hour morning. Thanks for reading everyone. It makes me smile when I read that reading chapters of Holiday brings a smile or silly grin to your faces. That makes me feel like I've succeeded, because what I want is to evoke the type of feelings we experienced (hopefully) when we used to get together with our girlfriends and have those heart to heart talks about life and love and dreams. Many of us realize, I think, that as we grow older and become busier with our families, jobs, and other responsibilities, we unfortunately (and as much as we try not to) also become too busy to have those get togethers with our best friends. But through writing Holiday, I feel like we have all become, and are, good friends, sharing time together, listening to Michael and Nikita's story, Carla and Chris's story, and giggling the night away. Long live late night chats with good ole friends.
