I'm English so i have what may be considered to be an intermediary view. The war in Iraq did not enjoy popular support in the UK beacuse there is currently a wave of anti-americanism in europe.

People are mostly opposed to the US government, but some (not a majority) also believe that the American people are ignorant to the true politics of the world. I think that every country has ignorant people, and i know that not every american actually believes that i live in a castle just beacuse i'm from England.

However the same people in europe still go to the movies to watch your films, and listen to your music beacuse it's good. I'm starting to tire of the hypocrisy and ignorance of europeans and englishmen. I believe that anti-americanim is a fashinable opinion for some people. When your government flips to the other side of the political spectrum in a few years the fickle people of europe will rush back to america with their arms open (and probably trading arms with tyranical leaders).

America is not the sole cause of all the worlds ills and europeans must recognise this without trying to deny responsibilty for it's actions. The issue is not as simple as many people believe. Paul - 19 (I am not anti-american by the way)
