1) America did not fight for a true cause in the civil war. It was a war over industry, what industries would rule the young nation. Lincoln repeated many many times that he would gladly keep the blacks slaved if it would win his war.
2) Not a single war, as far as I've found, in our history was ever fought for the causes given. Look it up. Look up the causes provided by the government at the time of the war, then look at what was done. Contradictory.
3) Hating america is just as sensible as loving it. Hating it blindly is just as idiotic as loving it blindly.
