Subject: Welome to the suburbs...where the grass is green Part 3 of whatever

(OOC: I realize this is very short, but I was busy today so if you don't like it, eat me)

(The scene opens on the back padio of Xtreme's parents house. The padio is well covered from the sun, under the shade of a big tree. The padio has many lawn chairs and many small tables on it. Xtreme is sitting in a chair, and Jake is sitting across from him. Xtreme has a Rolling Rock in his hand and is sipping it. Jake has a Pepsi can in his hand and is sipping it as well. Jake takes a deep breath in and exhales out slowly. He looks around and says to Xtreme)

Jake: Xtreme, why don't we live in the suburbs? It's so much nicer here than in the city. There's almost no traffic, no noise, not nearly as much pollution. How come we live in the city?

Xtreme: Because, Jake, the suburbs are boring. There's nothing to do. This is about the extent of what there is to do here...sit around and talk about why we should be so lucky to live in the suburbs and not in the city. There's so much to do in the city. There's interesting people, there's the stores, there's the clubs. There's none of that here.

Jake: So what you're saying is that the reason we don't live here is that it's boring?

Xtreme: That's about the skinny of it.

Jake: Makes sense.

Xtreme: You know what else is boring?

Jake: What's that?

Xtreme: Listening to Skylar Thomas talk endlessly about how I suck. I mean, haven't we heard this all before? I believe we have. I heard all this talk about me sucking and why I can't beat Skylar Thomas, even though I already have beaten him. Quite frankly, you bore me, Thomas. Just like you bore me in the ring, you bore me outside of it. Do I give a shit about ANYTHING you say? No, Skylar, I honestly don't. At first I tried to act like I cared, I tried to make it seem like you made valid points against me...but I just don't care about a damn thing you say. Sure, at first the task of taking on a veteran such as yourself was a daunting task...but I beat you, Thomas! ME! I thought it would've been a little harder to do, but I beat you and now...you don't seem as tough as you once did. Now, instead of seeming like the biggest ass in the world, Skylar Thomas just seems like a rectum. Are you following me, Skylar? I am NOT sweating you in the least. Sure, you have a shot at my title but that is all you have. A shot. Not a chance of winning, not a possibility...a shot. You can talk all you want about how you're pissed that I beat you, or how you're going to exact your revenge on me...but I don't really care. You can beat me, you can make me bleed, but you won't pin me. You did all of the above to me at To The Max but none of it mattered because I still got the W next to my name. I still pinned your shoulders to the mat for three seconds and advanced to the finals to win my Colosseum title. I beat you once to get this belt, and I am going to beat you again to keep it. Beating you is like tying my shoes or riding a bike...it just comes naturally. Hell, beating anyone just comes naturally to me considering now that is all I've been doing is beating people. I have yet to taste defeat in the GWA this time around and I highly doubt a man I have already beaten will be able to stop me. I've already destroyed the people I lost to the first time around in the GWA, and I will not stop until I am on the top of the GWA. They say that once you are on the top the only place to go is down...but in this situation the only way I can go is up. I'm on such a streak now, no one will be able to stop me. Not Skylar Thomas, not Michael Merlin, not that loser OutLaw who is locked up in some jail cell right now. No one can stop me, not even you Skylar. As far as you go in the matters of a challenger for my title...the chances of you winning are slim to none. I beat you at To The Max, so why in God's name do you think you can beat me now? I know I sound a broken record, Skylar, but seriously, how do you expect to beat me? If I beat a man once, he has no chance of ever beating me in the future. Why? Because I already know everything you are going to do, before you do it! You can't surprise me, Skylar, so don't be surprised when I counter everything you try and throw at me. I'm a wrestler above all else, Skylar, and don't you forget it. Any move you can come up with, I know a counter to. Any crazy ass manuver you try on me will just be thrown back in your face. But no, Skylar Thomas still insists my win over him was "empty" and without meaning. Well, it meant a hell of a lot because I am the Colosseum champion now, aren't I? If I did not win at To The Max, then why am I the Colosseum champion, and not you? Answer me that, brainiac. Don't give me this Michael Merlin bullshit about "cheating the fans" because I cheated to win. Don't bash the referees for not seeing it. The only person you have to blame is yourself, Skylar. You lost and now you blame everyone else, except yourself. What are you a frickin' six year old who can't responsability for their own actions? I think you should get over YOURself, Skylar. You want to know why you left the federation a year and a half ago? Not because you wanted to pursue "other points of interest", but because you couldn't hack it anymore. You couldn't cut it anymore, so you ran with your tail between your legs and now you think you can come back and beat me? A man who pinned your ass at To The Max? A man whose win streak is so long, you need a yard stick to measure it. A man who is, and will continue to be, the best damn Colosseum champion EVER. You should just pack it up and go home right now, Thomas. You couldn't beat me two weeks ago and you won't beat me now. End of story.

(Xtreme takes another sip of the Rolling Rock and sets it down on a little table next to his chair. Jake finishes his soda and crushes the can on his head and sets it down on the table. Xtreme chuckles and Jake says)

Jake: But don't forget, dude, you still got that tag match with Assassin to go through before you even get to Skylar Thomas.

Xtreme: Yeah I remember. I don't know whether being the Colosseum champion is a blessing or a curse sometimes. Sure, I'm a champion but I have to defend the belt every week and this week I have two matches because I'm obligated to defend it. Now not only do I have to deal with The Union, but me and Assassin also have to deal with The Usual Suspects who will be on my case because I am not on very steady ground with the Circle. Not very steady ground...hell I couldn't be on worse ground with them. First the Violent Femmes are giving me shit for some reason, then I join forces with Mr. Storm and we all know how the Circle feels about Storm, then I beat OutLaw in the Colosseum tournament finals. Suffice to say, the Circle is not very fond of me, but then again...when have I EVER cared about what anyone thinks of me? Well, never, the last time I checked. The Union doesn't scare me in the least. These guys are older than dirt, and wrestle like it, quite frankly. Goliath is easily beaten, just like Jim Daher, if he's even still around. Both these men have been in the GWA for an eternity, but haven't seemed to get any better. I, on the other hand, am only just beginning here in the GWA. I am the future...I am Mr. Storm's Chosen Champion. These men are his chosen ones to retire next. Then we have the Usual Suspects. These two guys mean about shit to me, and I intend on treating them like it at Insurrection. Sure I may my mind on other things a few days from now, but make no mistake about it, I will not leave Assassin high and dry. I would love nothing more than to win more gold and if Assassin can help me get the job done, more power to him. I know we have no always seen eye to eye on things, but I know we can coexist long enough to attain a mutual goal. He wants the Legion titles back, I just want more gold. Plus, if Mr. Storm saw fit to give us this oppurtinity, then he must see something in us, right? Mr. Storm does have an eye for talent, you know. If he didn't, why would he have made me his Chosen Champion? He made me his Chosen Champion because he knows a winner when he sees one! He knows I can get the job done and named me his Chosen Champion, and dropped that butt pirate Chris Carpenter. Carpenter wasn't getting the job done, so he kicked him to the curb just like I'm going to do to the Union and The Usual Suspects. When I set my mind to something, it will happen. Just look at me now, I wanted to the Colosseum title and now I have it. Now I want the Legion titles and I will have them. Nothing will stop me from getting my hands on one half of the Legion titles...not the Union, not the Usual Suspects, and not the Violent Femmes. Assassin, all I have is one thing to say to you. If you and I work our asses off, I know we will achieve what we set out to do...and what we set out to do is become the Legion Champions. XTREME HAS SPOKEN.

(Xtreme gets up and takes his beer with him. Jake picks up the crush soda can and follows him. The camara cuts to a montage of Xtreme's most recent wins with the song "Magna Cum Nada" in the background. Some of the wins that are shown are his win over Skylar Thomas at TTM, his win over OutLaw and Kira Benson also at TTM and his most recent title defense against Michael Merlin. We can hear the song play a certain part over and over again during the montage)

Never gonna be never gonna be never gonna never gonna be

Nothing more than me

Never gonna be never gonna be never gonna never gonna be

Nothing more than me

Never gonna be never gonna be never gonna never gonna be

Nothing more than me

Always gonna be always gonna be always gonna always gonna be

Most likely to SUCK
