Depression: A look back...

..:: Foreward ::..

..:: My life seems to have gotten better. The voice still haunts me, but other things have happened which makes me believe that my life is headed upwards. I am a Gladiator again. I am working for another corporation besides the GWA. Ascension Wrestling is where I can also be found. Saturday I got my first win in fact. Maybe I showed people that I truly am none other than a high caliber wrestler. Sebastian Frost on Saturday, Hardcore Rules. Los Gringo X on Wednesday. What more could I ask for. Just another chance to shine. A time for me to make my name known. Kira Benson and John Lindsay realized I am here for a reason. I am no longer playing around. I am running for a championship here. The Colloseum Championship at that. But this week didn't come with all good news; A legend died. A man of so many accomplishments. Jakob Grimes is dead. HE died in front of three respected men, and one woman. But he was a legend. Jakob Grimes is the only other man, besides Joey Jackson, who I respect with all the dignity in the world. No matter how evil Grimes was. No matter how much of a monster he was portrayed. He was my hero, and in my eyes, he was GOD. He went out there and did it all for the fans. He fucking made the hardcore division as it was. Who else can you say was like him? But he dealt with the same problem as me. The only other man who I know of that has the problem I am forced to deal with. The voice telling me what to do. The voice forcing me to do shit I don't want to do. The fucking force is turning ME into that monster for which Jakob Grimes once was. I am simply being changed. From human, to blood thirsty animal. I wonder if Los Gringo X will realize that when I hurt him very badly? Who knows. But here is the next chapter in a book of Anger, Depression, and Aggression. Here is the Second part of the Climax of a man's diminishing life.::..

..:: Scene ::..

// Johnny sits in a nearly deserted library in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is sitting in front of the librarians desk, waiting for her to look up from her book, so he can ask her a question. \\

Johnny: Umm...Excuse me Miss? Can I ask you where a can get a book written by a, Dr. William Shaddix?

Librarian: Well lets see here. A Mr. William Shaddix you said? Please, follow me.

// The librarian then leads Johnny down a series of book cases, all loaded with different books. Novels, research books, encyclopedia's, and dictionaries. The usual in a public library. The librarian then brings Johnny to a shelf labeled "Research - SA-SM" \\

Librarian: Here you go sir. I am sure you will find it here. I do believe I remember seeing that book here a few days ago. Hopefully it is still here for you. By the way, you look very familiar. What do you do for work?

Johnny Havok: Well thank you ma'am. If I can't find it, I will be sure to come find you. And I am a bouncer at a local night club, just inside the border of Calgary. (Looking at the lady nervously, not sure if she believed him or not) Well I had better find this book, I have to finish it soon.

// Johnny then begins to scan throughout the shelf of books, looking for the memorized title, and author. He finds it, after reading on the binding, and pries the book from the shelf, and tucks it underneath his arm. He walks to the nearest vacant table, and puts the book down, pulls out the chair, and has a seat. He begins with the title. Not Just a Voice by Dr. William K. Shaddix". \\

Johnny Havok: Hey...(Skimming through the pages) this is a pretty damn long book. How the hell am I ever going to read the entire thing in such a short time!?

Why the hell are you reading jackass!?! You have a fucking match to prepare for!

Shut up! I am trying to get rid of you!!

Johnathan?

Don't call me that!

You got Los Gringo X dickhead. He is one crazy son of a bitch. He'll tear you to shreds. Unless, of course, you decide to listen to me.

Screw that! I'll do to Gringo the same that I did to John Lindsay and Kira Benson. I don't need your help!

Are you sure about that?

Of course I am sure!!

Whatever. Why are we here at the library anyways?

I am here looking for information from a certain book. It's written by this doctor. One who knows about the condition I have. He will help me get rid of you! First I have to read this, then I am going to try and find him.

Why the fuck would you want to get rid of me!?! I do all of this shit for you, and you repay me by trying to find this doctor in order to get rid of me!?! WELL FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!! I am not going anywhere. You don't even realize that I could make your life a complete living hell, do you?! You so easily forget that if I wasn't giding you throughout the way, your ass would be washed up, or worse, DEAD!! Without me, you'd be a nobody. A Loser! Do you understand what I am implying you fucking imbecil?? Has it seeped through that hard fucking head of yours...that you NEED me!?!

Will you shut the hell up! Your not even real! You are my god damn imagination. I could kill you off very easily!

Oh you could, could you son? I would enjoy seeing you even try. I really, really would enjoy seeing you try. You and I both know that you can't get rid of me!

Forget it. Forget you! I need to do some research.

// Johnny then opens up the book, and begins to read it. He gets through about thirty pages in an hour's time, when he is interrupted again. \\

I like your newly shaved head jackass. Needs a little tan idiot, a little white wouldn't you say? And that goatee, the little one incher underneath your chin, that is REAL cute.

Johnny Havok: (Outloud) SHUT UP!!!

// Johnny then looks around and notices that people are staring at him as if he is nuts. He then looks over to the librarian who is giving him the dirtiest look, and then holds her index finger in front of her mouth, as in order to tell him to shut the hell up. \\

You know nothing about style! Anyways, what is it with you? You don't think I stand a chance against Los Gringo X?

It's not the fact that you aren't good enough, it is the fact that you are taking things way too lightly. GWA isn't a game. You go in there cocky, you are going to get eaten alive!

Alright then, what do you have on Los Gringo X? Anything special I need to know?

Yeah, first of all, he is a nutcase. You need to watch your back against him too. His tag-team partner is as just as dangerous as Gringo. He could easily come down and plant your ass face down in the ring. You need to work on his neck and back. If you want a chancew to win that Colliseum Championship bad enough, you'll do what I say. You easily have the strength, intellectual, and technical advantage, you just need to try and ease that temper a bit. If your blow you gasket, you won't be thinking ith a clear head, and that will be the factor in your loss of hopes. Your temper, if lost Wednesday night, could definately hurt you in the long run. I want to help you win this title Johnny. I think you deserve it. Just work hard, that's all I ask. And hurt that mother fucker. Please, make his sorry ass bleed!!

Alrite, I can do that. But we're leaving right now.

// Johnny then takes up the book to the checkout desk where the librarian awaits him. She gives him a dirty look, along with the ten other people in the library who had recently come in. Johnny returns the dirty looks and then hands the book to the librarian. She stamps it, and then gives him a "Get the Hell Out" look. He then takes the book from her outstrtched hands, and tucks the book underneath his arm. He then leaves with the book, and the voice. \\
