Subject: The fans speak out.....

(The scene opens on the street of a major city. What major city is this? It could be Philadelphia...but who's telling this story? Me or you? Thats what I thought! Now, getting back.....The sounds of cars rushing by, people walking, people talking, and other various noises fill the air. Its a sunny, but brisk day in this city, and although the sun is shining, its quite cold. The camera view pans down to sidewalk level, and focuses on a group of three young men, walking and talking, down the street. One of these boys has on a green sweatshirt, and black wind breaker pants. Another has a a gray long sleeved t-shirt, and light blue jeans on, while the last has on a "XTREME HAS SPOKEN" t-shirt, with a pair of dark blue jeans on. We we get in closer, we can hear that these boys are talking about the GWA and its upcoming event; specifically the Maximus title match between Ashram Kenjin, Xtreme, and Odyssey)


Teen #1: How can you even say that? Are you insane or something?


Teen #2: How can I say that? How can you say that? Like Odyssey has any shot of winning the Maximus title, Gerald.


Gerald: Don't call me Gerald, you know I hate it. But what the hell are you smokin', man? Xtreme winning the Maximus title is the craziest thing I've ever heard.


Teen #2: He has a better shot than that punk Odyssey does.


Teen #3: Jerry, Mike...you are both totally wrong. Niether of them will win. Ashram has it all wrapped up.


Mike: Oh sure, Bill, what has Ashram ever done before winning the Maximus title? Thats right....nothing. Xtreme has been nothing but impressive ever since he came into the GWA.


Jerry: Was he impressive when Chris Carpenter pinned his shoulders to the mat 1-2-3?


Mike: Shut your mouth, Jerry. He gave Carpenter the best match he's had in a long time.


Bill: Well if Xtreme is so great, Mike, why isn't he Maximus champion, or Olympic champion right now?


Mike: ....


Jerry: Thats right, Mike, you can't answer that. Just like you can't give me a good asnwer why Odyssey doesn't have a shot at winning Wednesday.


Bill: Well I can tell you why, because Odyssey sucks. Thats why.


Jerry: Hey, I thought you were on my side?


Bill: Hell no, you fool. Odyssey sucks just as much as Xtreme does. Ashram Kenjin is the real deal. He's the Maximus champion isn't he? At least Xtreme has some reason to claim he should be in this match. Odyssey is just some newbie bitch who thinks he deserves a title shot right away.


Jerry: So.....so!?!


Bill: Thats what I thought, Jer, Odyssey no reason or right to be in this match. If I were Kenjin, I would never have let him have this shot.


Mike: You got a point, Bill. I hate to admit it, but you do. Odyssey talks all this shit about Kenjin and especially Xtreme, when he has no fucking right to. Odyssey is one of those guys who walks into a federation and think he deserves a title shot for no fucking reason, and I think thats got Xtreme pissed because he's had to work so hard so far.


Jerry: But dude....Xtreme sucks. He belongs in the Valkyrie divison. Why do you think Odyssey would've said that if it wasn't true?


Mike: Because Odyssey is pompous, smug bastard who thinks he's God gift to wrestling. And why are you believing his word over anyone elses? Is your opinion that easily swayed?


Jerry: Yeah....well....at least Odyssey doesn't....uh....suck like Xtreme does!


Bill: Way to go, Jerry. Nice comback. But Mike, how can you seriously think Xtreme has a chance against Ashram? He is one of is not the most impressive newcomers the GWA has seen in a long time, you know.


Mike: What about Xtreme? Was he not impressive when he was a newcomer? The guys like 8-1 right now, and you're acting like he has no business in this match what-so-ever.


Jerry: Well he doesn't.


Mike: Shut the hell up, Jerry. You wouldn't have even started to like wrestling without me, you ungrateful bastard.


Jerry: Well its not my fault you like shitty wrestlers.


Bill: Stop your bickering. Jerry, why can't you understand the fact that Odyssey is nothing more than a whiney little second grader, with an eighth graders vocabulary. He has no grounds what-so-EVER to be making these wild accusations about Xtreme or Ashram Kenjin. As far as I'm concerned, I hope Kenjin whips his ass Wednesday. He's starting to piss me the hell off.


Jerry: He's just pissing you off because you know he's right and your wrong.


Mike: No, he's pissing us off because he thinks he's so great when really he isn't that good at all.


Jerry: And since when did Xtreme become so great and powerful?


Mike: Well at least he's proven himself. Odyssey has hardly done anything except get wailed on at Adrenaline Eruption.


Bill: He has a point, Jerry. Odyssey was pretty much a human punching bag at Adrenaline Eruption.


Jerry: Oh yeah, and like Ashram did any better.


Bill:(Who looks confused)He won the damn match!


Jerry: Shut up....just shut up you guys. Hey, I'm hungry. Lets go to that McDonalds.


(The three guys walks a little bit farther, still bickering, to the McDonalds. They walk in, and have to wait in line behind a few people)


Bill: You have to admit though, Ashram is pretty impressive and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he retains his gold.


Mike: He's impressive, I'll give you that, but he got no where near the experiance Xtreme does. And besides, why doesn't anyone ever give Xtreme the respect he deserves? He works his ass off for the GWA, giving the fans entertaining matches...always giving a hundred percent, yet people never respect him. Like fucking Rodney Dangerfield and shit.


Bill: Very eloquent vobaulary, Mike. To tell you the truth, I don't know why anyone respects Xtreme. He tries so hard, but no one ever seems to take him seriously. Maybe its his lame ass name.


Mike: Whats wrong with his name?


Bill: Well for starters, its lame.


Jerry: And its gay.


Mike: Whats up with that, man? Why is everything gay to you? "Oh look at that dog" "Hey that names gay".


Jerry:.....I hate you Mike.


(The three guys move up to the counter and order their food. Jerry, even though he suggested the food stop, needs to borrow money from Mike. They wait a moment and get their food. Bill picks up napkins and straws and the three guys sit down at a both at the far end of the McDonalds. Mike takes a bite out of his burger and starts talking while Bill eats a Chicken McNugget and Jerry eats some fries)


Mike: I had McDonalds food....why'd we stop here?


Bill: Because Mr. "Hey lets stop for food even though I have no money to pay for it" over there wanted to.


Jerry: Well I knew you guys were hungry so I suggested we stop.


Mike: Well you have to pay me back, you know.


Jerry: I will, I will. Hey, I thought you liked McDonalds?


Mike: Not really. Wendy's is much better than this. This stuff makes me feel like I gotta take a shit like two minutes after I'm done eating it.


Jerry: Then why'd you get anything?


Mike: Because....I was hungry. Thats why. And while I hate this, I'll still eat it.


Bill: Is that why you like Xtreme, Mike? Even though he sucks, you still like him because you feel sorry for him or something?


Mike: No, that isn't it at all Mr. "Hey lets all jump on the Ashram Kenjin bandwagon because he won the Maximus title".


Bill: Well Xtreme doesn't havet he Maximus title does he?


Mike: Well he'll have it...you wait and see. It just took him so long to get a title shot because he gets no respect around the GWA. People don't like him for whatever reason, so they don't give him a title shot...even though he's only lost once in his whole GWA career.


Jerry: He's only been in the GWA for like two months now, why should he get a title shot?


Mike: Odyssey and Kenjin have been in it even less! Niether of them deserved a title shot yet. Xtreme has given his blood, sweat, and more blood for the sake of the GWA and no one gives a damn. It just pisses me off that even though Xtreme is a guy who will be a top star in the GWA someday, and no one gives a damn about him.


Bill: Well Kenjin is already a top star in the GWA, and he's been in the federation for less than Xtreme has.


Mike: He barely won the match! If not for Joey Jackson and that bitch James Sexton, Ashram would not have won that match. A more deserving guy like SSS might've won it....hell Xtreme coulda been the guy up there with SSS, but Ashram just got lucky is all.


Bill: Sure Mike, "lucky". What you call luck, I call skill.


Mike: So skill is falling from the top of the cage, landing on Xtreme and Odyssey and dragging your sorry ass up to the top of the structure?


Jerry: Yeah, Odyssey had a chance to win, but Ashram and SSS used him to cushion their fall. If not for that, I think he would've won.


Bill: Odyssey never had a shot from the beginning. You knew either Ashram or Xtreme was going to take home the gold...and it just so happened that Ashram did, and not Xtreme.


Mike: Well thats all gonna change when Xtreme takes the gold away from him and make the Jackasses the most decorated stable in the GWA today.


Bill: Thats another thing...whats up with the Jackasses...I don't get it.


Mike: Whats not to get? They are what they are. Xtreme is an asshole and Lost Worlds is a bigger asshole. But with two guys like that, it makes the little asshole look like its just a rectum.


Jerry: Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?


I don't know any more...I think this McDonalds food is starting to get to me or something.


Jerry: Well whatever it is, I think its gotten to you both. How can you be so quick to count out Odyssey from the matchup on Wednesday?


Bill: Maybe because he's already been counted out.


Jerry: Whats that supposed to mean?


Bill: Odyssey, as talented for a newcomer as he may be, has nowhere near the experiance, or the maturity for that matter, to be a contender for the second most prestigious belt in the GWA. Xtreme out ranks all of them in experiance but Ashram is still the one with the gold.


Jerry: What are you talking about "maturity". What the hell is that supposed to mean?


Mike: What I think he was getting at is Odyssey goes around insulting people like a kid would do on an elementry school playground. When the hell was the last time you heard an adult call someone a girl? Or imply that they are more suited to compete with women? And be serious about it? Sure, some adults may say it jokingly, but Odyssey was serious!


Jerry: So....he's still a girl....


Mike: Yes Jake, he's a girl. You won't be saying that after Odyssey is the first to be eliminated Wednesday. Xtreme has more knowledge and experiance is these types of matches than anyone! I remember when I used to watch him on the indy circuit, he was badass at all this hardcore shit. No one could touch him.


Bill: Xtreme's been around for that long?


Mike: Damn straight, he has. And he's been kicking ass since Odyssey and Ashram ever showed up in the world of wrestling. Xtreme has all the tools needed to be the next Maximus champion. Odyssey is too much of a child to be Maximus champion. Who the hell would be proud to say that "Odyssey is my Maximus champion". No one would. People would be embaressed to even say they like the GWA if he was the Maximus champion. Even Ashram Kenjin is sort of a disgrace. The only thing he represents is that people who don't work hard can have things handed to them. Xtreme has worked his ass off for more than 2 months, and he gets his first title shot. Ashram works a few matches and wins the Maximus title. Whats up with that?


Bill: Maybe its because Ashram has something called "talent". Maybe Xtreme could learn a thing or two from Ashram.


Mike: Or maybe you should shut your mouth, Bill. Xtreme doesn't need advice from Kenjin or Odyssey. These two think they can walk around and talk about how much greater they are than everyone else when they have no right to at all. These guys are no better than anyone else in the GWA. The only difference between them and Xtreme is that Xtreme realizes his limitations and when he's beaten. These guys think they're fucking untouchable and that if they lose, the other guy must've cheated or something. No one can accept a loss anymore.


Bill: No one wants to lose, Mike.


Mike: You're right, no one does, but it happens. And everyone, whether they like it or not, loses sometimes. These guys just don't realize that they aren't fucking Gods of the ring or that they're the best thing to happen to wrestling since sliced cheese. They think they can go around acting all smug all the time, and that nothing bad will ever happen to them at all. Well I think both of you guys will see that Xtreme will get the respect he deserves, and he's going to get it real soon.


(The three guys continue to talk and fight as the finish eating. They get up, throw out their trash, and leave the McDonalds as the scene fades to black)
