I was trying to see what I could find, and it seems he has an official messageboard where he made the post about his health, and other sources picked it up. I'll put the link to the board at the end of this post. I just glanced through it, but it looks like he's at least a semi-regular poster, and he seems to be getting a lot of fan support there. He's also got an online diary, to keep folks updated on how he's doing.
