My husband's aunt passed away this past week. She always made me and my son feel like a part of their family and we will miss her very much. My mom-in-law is having a tough time as she just lost my dad-in-law in September and now has lost her only sister. Here's her obit:


Gladys "Spot" Hayden
1938 - 2005
Gladys "Spot" Hayden, age 67, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, July 21, 2005.

She was born on June 12, 1938 at Hot Springs, the daughter of Fletcher O. Harvey and Gertrude Mae Boone Harvey.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Hayden of Hot Springs; one daughter, Debra Johnson of Jessieville; two sons, Scott Hamilton of Jessieville and Mike Hamilton of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Harvey of Hot Springs and Dale Harvey of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one sister, Patsy Black of Hot Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2005 in the Morning Star Cemetery with Rev. Alfred Harvey officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
