The Free Birds came over to do some shows along with some of the other wrestlers like Ric Flair from the southeast organization and competed with the Von Erichs as a cross promotion. The Von Erichs did the same with AWA out of Las Vegas where we saw Kerry competed against Jerry The King Lawler for the Unified championship. Kerry lost his belt and Jerry kept his AWA belt and have the Von Erich's organization belt. Out of the AWA organizations at the time when you see the reruns of it on ESPN Classic, you see Mr. Perfect, The Rockers, Jerry The King Lawler, Scarey Sherry, Luna Vaschan, Mitch Snow which he is now known as Al Snow and the Head he carries in WWE and others. A lot of WWE superstars back in the 1980's to early 1990's were people from those 2 organizations. Now some of the superstars in WWE were rejects from WCW. HHH, Chris Jericho, The Big Show who was the Giant, Steve Austin who was a complete bad guy as Stunning Steve Austin who had hair at the time and so on.

I remember the gimmick mataches that WWE brings back some of the favorites from the past from these organizations.
The Missing Link
The Great Kabukie
The big fat dude black dude that was supposed to be from Africa, they brought him back for the Diva search contest. That was funny to see the diva contestants tried to sudduced him.

Ah, I forgot the one wrestlers name in the other post, but now it came to me La Parka who wears the skeleton custome and mask that carries the chair.
