 The sun was setting then. It left only it's purple and red colors across the horizon. Perhaps it was the dense trees that made it seem like midnight to the young tricolored dog. His pistons carried him slowly down the croncrete path. The street lights flickered on, causing him to startle. He jumped away from them, but regained his composure once he realized it was only lights. Way to jumpy, he thought. But could you blame a pup for such a thing? After his tiresome journey? His thick coat was still damp from when he fell into the river. Then a breeze flew by him, making him shiver rapidly. Die out here surely if don't find shelter, he thought to himself. He checked under a bench and found a abandoned blanket. It was ragged, probaly used by some hobo, but it would do. He tried to get into the blanket as fast as he could. The shivering and tiresomeness made it harder than usual. Once in, he curled up best he could. Will death come, he asked himself. Shouldn't have left home. Where is it anyways?
