Her dark gaze flickers to the bird, watching it with little interest until it lands. Astrid is startled as the bird shifts form, and is perturbed as to why she didn't sense the girl's aura. Her expression does not change, and the only sign that she is rather suspicious of the creature is the narrowing of her eyes. She couldn't figure out what the hell the girl was, and that didn't sit well with Astrid. Instantly after the girl speaks, Astrid's mind shields go up. She was fairly sure they would block her mind from the girl's, but she would rather be positive. But she couldn't be positive if she didn't know who/what the girl was. She pauses a few moments before replying. "Oh yes, I find it quite fascinating." She retorts, just as sarcastic. She glares carefully at the girl before speaking next. "Who are you?"
