He only nods once at the last part of her sentance. He still found this Taylor mildly off-putting, but at the same time.....spunky. HE turns his back on the two, halfway, waiting for Des. His grin fads at her gaze, and he tugs a lock of long hair in an out of character action of self-counciouseness. He goes from tugging it to pulling it into a braid. Oh, hell yes. But he wasn't eager to admit quiet a lot. He relaxes as Des returns, startled at her action but not protesting, only placeing a hand on her smaller one in a protective move of his own.
