The princess scoffed silently at Jocelyn. She had long lost her desire to enjoy the day and the new land. Taking a single step toward the fiery fighting woman, she shook her head. "No. Teach us. Now." Might as well be now. There was not much time, not that it mattered. At least, she hoped, that Telle would learn something so that he would not get himself killed. Knuckles white, she stood stubbornly at her full height and bore her gaze into Jocelyn's.

Perhaps it had been a huge mistake getting this trio involved. She hadn�t wanted them to be involved. It was too late now. But Layla would regret it always, and at the same time she wouldn't. Life was a mess.
