Peregrine's occs dimly focus 'pon Othello. Othello looked back mildy, ignoring Rave's insistent urge to heal the shifter. Peregrine coughed blood and oocs flicker at the herd..his family. Maw opened and he said with a tortured harshly intoned whisper, "Please..."
Othello leaned closer, "Say it, Death or Life."
Peregrine moaned - a sound so heart-wrenching. "Life."
Peregrine's occs closed...his breathing slowed...slowed...stopped. His heart slowed...slowed...and stopped just after.
Othello suddenly disapeared..

Pheo cried out in agony, but did not move toward her nephew. She ducked her head.

No one noticed when Peregrine's occs opened slowly..
