 Peregrine painfully stretched a long slender foreleg, wincng at the pain that coursed down his spine. Legolas -the hell-lion- that murdered Jet...was m'sire. He was a major role in the killing of m'sister an' brother. I helped in the war 'ganst him an' he somehow broke m'spine. I was partway healed by Othello -a spirirt that is seen sometimes about- but he hadn't the strength to heal me fully. I'd be fairly useless if another war should hit the Lake. I'll cope as I always have.
