The late midday sun breaks through the strom clouds, the drizzle of rain drying as it is drunk by the parched earth. Darkness would soon unfold over the lands in a still, quiet night. Already the sun was turning towards the horizon, preparing for the dive of the edge of the visible world. The sky had turned its brilliant colors just as the dust began to rise. Something whistles against an unseen gorge's walls, an eerie breeze shifts your hair. The sun dips beneath the horizon just as a soft but unnerving sound reaching your ears. Pounding. Something overhead screeches, a circling vulture. The sound suddenly explodes before you, the clouds of dust blanketing the sky from view. Figures dash towards you, what they are unknown. The rumbling becoms ear-splitting, then suddenly it fades, gone with the night.
