It seemed like all the stress and such had come full circle and turned out to be joy -- it was not as hard as they'd expected, and she didn't resent him at all for encouraging her to keep the baby, the way she had assumed she would feel. She felt a bit of a rush of emotion as she often did when she considered which way the entire situation had had the potential to go, and leaned up to wrap her arms around him, squeezing him tight.
