I miss the Angel I know. :(

What's so funny about this though is that even without Darla's appearance, there's still not enough focus on Wes and Gunn. Maybe that will change later but I think the problem is all about balance again, which is what you said.

I just wish we got something more than this. You know? I feel like I'm dying here and I haven't received a drop of water to ease my thirst. Granted as Khali mentioned practically every episode so far has had a baby or love related theme, but it all feels shallow right now.
