You're welcome and I agree. In my heart of hearts, I want Darla to be the mother caring for her child, but there's also a pessimistic part of me that thinks: "Okay, here's how the baby storyline goes: Cordy defends Darla, Darla turns on her, Darla is staked or humiliated again like in Epiphany after birth, Cordy becomes the mother hen of the baby, facilitating A/C'ness (I like A/C) and the baby grows up thinking: Cordy=good, Darla=bad."

As much as I like Cordy, I do not want this to happen. The baby is Darla's and Darla has to assume responsibility for it. After all, a baby can be a recurring character on this show, but we, the audience need to know where it is staying. Will it be given up for adoption? If it is all mystical and powerful like dawn, then it needs to stay with someone strong enough and knowledgeable enough to protect it. Since AtS, is a promoter of Family, I'm hoping, that Darla becomes that protector. It would serve as a gift to Angel, for "failing" to save her last year in the Trial and Reunion.

Since the baby was born from a time of despair, maybe it can be a sign of hope.
