Episode: 6. Airdate: 10/29/01 (tentative).

Ep #50 overall...expect big.

"An intensely dark episode addresses issues of violence as the illusive "Flame Boy" returns (Imprisoned guy Angel resuced). The demon within him can possess a man to hurt women and when Wesley is affected, a whole new world of trouble opens up. (Not literally.)

This will be a scary, horror-y, powerful episode addressing a sensitive subject realistically. However, expect fair representation of strong females to counter the harshness of the plot.

Guest stars: Stephanie Romanov as Lilah, Daniel Dae Kim as Gavin Park, and Justin Shilton as Flame Boy (no known name, probably "Billy")."


Sounds really good, but my question now is this:

Is this possession of Wesley taken care of by the end of the episode or not? The reason why I ask is because there's a rumor going around that a member of the gang betrays Angel. A possession by flame boy would answer why. So we learn a little more about flame boy. He has a demon inside of him or he's just a demon? Don't know, yet at least one of his powers is his ability to possess people and esp. into abusing women. Skip mentioned that he did something really awful, so maybe he killed his family? But then, so did Angel and Penn and neither of them got treated to a lifetime in a burning cell so I guess it's something incredibly worse.

If episode 6 does air right after episode 5 without a repeat in between like last season, then it looks like we won't have any repeats until after episode 9. Interesting, yet a great way to keep people involved in the arc. YAY!
