Could this be forshawdowing for Darla/the baby?

You are not the only one thinking that Angel!Marcus holding the baby was a big foreshadow of what's to come with Darla. I'm trying not to get too attached to Darla and the baby-storyline (not happening, but if I take deep breaths everytime I see a Darla scene, it could work), but I think that the baby's going to be a boy. I don't know why I feel this way, maybe it's because of The Prodigal, Angel Season 1 episode, where Angel has issues with his father. If Angel has a son, then it raises the questions of the father/son relationship he had with his own father.
