>That was gorgeous. Darla was absolutely great tonight.
>From being uncaring to actually crying, yet covering
>it up was just plain wonderful. More and more, I've
>become a Darla fan.

*sniff*

I'm so there with you. When I saw her tears my heart just broke and at the same time I was saying to myself "YES!"

>>I really want to believe this. I really do, but ugh,
>>I can't! It doesn't add up! :)
>
>Blue, I've set up a screaming room in the D/A bunker,
>we can scream out our anxiety withinfour sound-proof
>walls.

Thank you! I've been screaming inside of myself ever since the promo aired! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! DARLAAAAAA!

>Their son!
>
>Beautiful. The one decent thing D/A have ever done in
>their two hundred plus years of existence.

*siiigh* They'll be bonded forever. :)

>Maybe she's afraid of growing attatched to the baby
>and is not sure of being a good mother.

I think that's exactly it. She runs away to only come back when she realizes she can't leave her baby forever. I so hope so.

>Blue, I'm with you on making Darla a regular. She's
>got such great style and humor that it's so much fun
>to watch her. I loved the scene where the vamps that
>support the Miracle Child where going on about killing
>the humans and Darla's all for it, until they got to
>the part of killing her and she's all, okay, I'm with
>you guys.

I know! I love her because she's so funny. For some reason I also liked the first real time scene between Angel and Darla, the one where they were discussing Angel's actions in Reprise before the other gang members showed up. You could just feel the sense of familiarity and it just felt so right like they were husband and wife or something. I just got that connected vibe that I've been seeing missing from ANGEL this season. Ugh, I don't think I'm explaining myself very well here.

>Oh, they did. I love the rapport between Darla and
>Fred. I want to see more of it in the next episode,
>since she seems to be the one at hand for delivering
>the baby.

Same here. :)

>I agree. I adore the Spike storyline, but Darla's
>storyline should reamin in line with her personality,
>which is sarcastic, willing to care for hers and hers
>alone, yet at the same time, willing to cover up those
>moments of sheer *humanity*, which are a sight to
>behold.

AH! It's MAGIC! I *love* those moments and they truly make the character shine.

Can you tell, I absolutely adore the scene
>where she's ust silent and covers up the fact that
>she's been touched by the sight of her baby.

*sniff*

Blue SCREAMS in the D/A bunker!

>To maintain the level up up and down-ness with out
>emotions regarding darla, I'm going to throw in a line
>that the ep, 14 will deal with A/C , where the writers
>tell us how wonderful, brave, courageous and so *neat*
>Cordy is and how much Anbgel should be loving her and
>only her. I'm sorry, but I'm feeling extreme
>resentment against Cordy at the moment.

Really? Tell me more or is this just about the "superhero" stuff? That punch in the face was weird. I mean wasn't it Cordelia that said she understood why Darla was ravenous? Wasn't it also her that let herself alone in a room with Darla?

Oh brother. She's really not winning any points with me.

I can't
>believe I'm going against A/C development at least
>untiltheyclear up the Darla-issue and not make Cordy
>the mom of Angel, Junior.

Rest those fears, Khali!

Blue
