Hey lil! yeah i guess one day we have to go through with it. It's not exactly what we want but without it we would not know what the meaning of being happy and joyous. I guess a simpler way to put it it that you don't know the meaning of full without knowing hunger. I also feel the same way that i live in a cocoon, safe and detached from all the harm of the world. Sure, we might see sufferings happening to other people, from wars, famine, drought, tragic events and other disasters, but we don't think it's all that important. It's not the same when we are in their shoes. We complain now about our marks in exams, we complain that work is too hard, we complain what life throws at us, but we forget what Jesus had to go though when he was at the cross. Beaten, humiliated and spat on and about to die, he still had the courage to say to forgive us all and to accept God's will. I guess when you're down and suffering, it's good to share with God all your troubles, to give Him some of the heavy burden that life throws at us. We can say that it's not fair, but life wasn't meant to be easy and fair. Everyone has their burdens. There is always friends around that you can trust. If it makes it better then it is better to say it out then to keep it in your heart and suffer silently. Well that's what the enginnering team development book says!=) take carez everybody~!

Well,as jas said, everyone will someday have to experience suffering of the same degree though in a different form. I can tell you that you won't be alone because many ppl close to you would have experienced a similiar situation. From my experience, as much as you had hoped that it won't happen to you, you can't prevent it and what I've learnt is that while other ppl are suffering around you, help them see the brighter side of themselves so that when it happens to you, you can too speak to yourself hence be able to handle it. One way I found was to write to yourself at moments of achievement and moments of reflection while you're down, so that when the rocket hits you, you can go back and regenerate yourself. Although it doesn't completely solve the problem, it helps you recover much faster and lets you get on with the other things.
