Like a fool, I sacrifice my love for you,
a cryptic one, something I wish I knew.
My lips are parched for lack of a kiss,
you're unforgiving, and our love's amiss.

Heart now the deepest shade of indigo blue,
perhaps I've been a jackass too.
I'm like a taco with a broken shell,
living withoug you, is sure hell.

Love vanquished, don't expect me to provide,
a way for it to return with us side by side.
I caught a glimpse of you as you walked away,
my feelings have been put to sleep as of today.

I've developed a lousy bad old attitude,
to everyone I am downright rude.
I don't blame you, for the love we lack,
I don't subscribe to a "stab in the back."

My aching heart glossed over, it can't feel,
what you did to me, it was a very raw deal.
If you ever want me back, just listen to this,
"I've got something on my backside that you can kiss......
