from my sheltered atmosphere of doubt
you drug me to your star~spangled ambiance

oh, to impress me?
you thought if you convinced me,
with your foreign covert moves
to take you on,
then that first kiss
would make us secretly bonded…
and I would faint in your lies?

your psychic grasps at my recollection
stifled the release of inhibitions
so you say…
in your own cruel manner,
eye to eye,
to me.
but your miracle drug
causes your eyes to not see…
blurred, dry and so un-free…

wine offered
by hate’s bandit,
disgust lingers…
soaked in red grape juice remains,
love’s loss ~ ominous…
warning ~
the boding evil,
the distress,
you are alone…
abandoned ~

how could you think otherwise?
