Subject: Fairlane Cobra Project Car For Sale

1969 Fairlane Cobra Sportsroof, R-code, 4-speed project. This is an original drivetrain car and very complete and fairly original. Engine/transmission/rear end all original to the car, block is standard bore, engine is missing cylinder heads but I have a pair of date correct heads available separately. Mallory distributor, Holley 3310 carb, missing ram air stuff. Has CJ exhaust manifolds, original radiator, etc. Has Hurst shifter.

Body panels are rusty all around the lower perimeter of car. However, the hood and trunk lid are nearly perfect (which is rare). Underside looks very good - I have only found one hole in the passenger toeboard but I have not removed the (original) carpet. I have build sheet (which was still under the seat) and Marti report.

I am asking $7,500. and will consider offering a "deal" on the heads at this price. Email me with questions at jimwoods7@earthlink.net. Car is in Western NC, just West of Asheville.
