Subject: UFO's (?) Over West Cumbria

Having been an avid fan of military aircraft for a number of years I was wondering to myself whether or not anyone can enlighten me as to the probability of stealth aircraft operating over the Lake District.
Why?
Simply because a number of people reported sightings of black triangular shaped craft in the West Cumbria area and a good description was eventually recorded in a popular local newspaper here.
It was merely said they were UFO's-However, I assumed that they were stealth aircraft operating at night...
People seem to get hold of the wrong end of the stick so to speak but we assume of course that what they see in the skies over Cumbria are merely military aircraft.
