This idle banter is all very interesting, quite amusing that an 'air traffic controller' should rubbish the fact that hundreds of military jets flying across the UK are all leaving thick white persistent trails left by no other planes, including airliners.

A comparison of planes using high powered binoculars and a good zoom digital video proves this point quite easily if you are in the right place at the right time.

Anyone travelling round Lancs and mid-Cheshire today July 28th from 6AM till noon would have seen this happening everywhere.
