If a unicorn could have smiled, it would have been now and the only place it held was in the eyes that rose to meet the mare's visage of beauty, knowledge, and grace. The swirling depths of a heedy, odd azure where happy yet overcast with such a sadness that it was painful to look upon.

He hefted himself up looking down to her a little as his ears flicked back and he bowed his head to her respectively before he surprised himself by leaning forward and drying his horn of ebony along her spiraled one of ivory before lightly nibbling at her neck.

He turned from her slowly then, the feathered appendages that were neatly folded along his back were evident now as he turned from her sight slowly making his way.

The latter word he spoke of as if it were not a possibility for him at least.
